## REST API

Our REST API is the quickest and easiest way to get started with Nutshell data.

## JSON-RPC API *(legacy)*

Our JSON-RPC has been available since 2010, and is a simple, HTTP-based procedural API to create, edit and fetch data. ## Webhooks

Webhooks are outbound events posted via HTTP when various things happen (i.e. a contact is updated, or a lead is won). You can set up your own HTTP endpoint to receive webhooks from Nutshell. **[Get started with webhooks](https://developers.nutshell.com/docs/working-with-webhooks)**.

## SQL Access
